I do understand that there could be millions of reasons as to why these wives are standing by their men, at least during press conferences. The benefits could be enourmous, just look at Hillary. Had she left Bill amidst his impeachment proceedings, she would've never had any political career. However, there's something sickening in how similar these images look. Do they practice this "faithful

Well, I guess if you married a career politician, you know that it is a very good chance you got a scumbag, so, you start practicing as soon as you finish thank you notes for the wedding presents.
ReplyDeleteToday's Post had a similar article but not quiet as eloquent and succinct.
ReplyDeleteAnd today, it was MSN who wrote something about "standing by your man"...
ReplyDeleteI would impeach him just for making his wife stand there. Whether they divorce or stay together is their own business, but making the wife share in his embarrassment is inhumane. It's not enough that he wronged her, he had to drag her through this press conference. Sickening.
ReplyDeleteHear, hear! I actually suggested an old Celtic method for her: wack him over the head with a very thick iron skillet.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!! we are like twins separated at birth because that's exactly what I told someone. What I really would like to see is for one of the wives do precisely what you have suggested - hitting her hypocrite with something thick - in the middle of the press conference. That might not go over too well during the divorce proceedings (she would have to be independently wealthy), but would make for a very good story. THAT'S HOW THE POLITICAL CAREERS SHOULD BE MADE. Hear that, Hillary? I would vote for that woman.
