On another occasion, I was reading the kids the book about Kipper and his flashlight. Both kids looked at the flashlight and asked me, "Is Kipper looking for chametz?"
Confessions of the 30-something year old Jewish woman who covers her hair, which, of course, means that she is subjugated by her husband. Or maybe not.
Such religious kids, what nachas a mother can have.
ReplyDeleteThat's just precious. I actually teared up. :)
ReplyDeleteWhich cartoon? Doesn't ring a bell. I thought I have everything from those times.
ReplyDeleteLPC, yeah, me too, especially given the fact that when I was their age, I didn't know what either was.
ReplyDeleteMoshe,
it is a cartoon about a rabbit who collected apples for his family. Along the way, he had shared his apples with all different animals, and by the time he came home, there was nothing left (reckless behavior if you ask me). The rabbit was sad, but then all the animals brought something back to him and his family.
What was it called and how come I don't remember it?
ReplyDeleteI don't remember the name of the cartoon and honestly believe that I bear no responsibility for your memory lapse.
